How To Keep Cold Calling Companies Honest
March 31, 2008 | Leave a Comment
I clicked on an ad that appears next to one of my articles for a lead-generation company that will be happy to do your cold calling, for a fee.
The company seems fairly run of the mill.
As a rule, they do everything they can to tilt the deals they get in their favor and to shift all risk to you, the buyer.
For one thing, you must pay them up-front, 100% of their fees and costs.
If they let you down, you’re out of luck and your cash reserves have been tapped.

Does A Deep Fryer Help Fry Your Food Better?
March 31, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Deep fryers are great for cooking French fries, fried chicken, or foods that need to be submerged in hot oil or fat. They consist of a deep cooking vessel with a mesh container or removable grill. You put the food on the grill and immerse it into the heated oil. You also have the option to cover the lid while cooking the food, like turkey fryers.

Ever thought of football as an extreme sport?
Welcome to the world of Royal Ashbourne Shrovetide Football (Shrovetide)!
I was introduced to Shrovetide when I met my then-to-be husband, a determined Shrovetider, and asked him how he’d broken his nose!
Shrovetide football is played in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England, on Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday every year, as it has done annually from at least the 12th Century (not even the world wars stopped play.)
Both the inventors of Rugby, and Association football, had strong Ashbourne, and Shrovetide connections.

Considering Location When Choosing Us Universities For Foreign Students
March 31, 2008 | Leave a Comment
After considering the reputation of the University of your choice, the second most important consideration you should do when selecting US universities as a foreign student is the academic institution’s location. You may look at the simple geographical site of the university.
Ideally, you should choose universities that are very near or proximate to major US cities. Such universities will be more convenient. If you aim to stay in a dormitory on campus, make sure it will not take long to get to the nearest convenience store or other basic commercial sites. If the university’s location is not ideal, do not risk going there. Go back to square one and find another university.
